Tonight James Toney now (69-6-3 with 43 KO's) lost for yet a second time against samuel Peter

Peter was the better man, he looked strong and sharp throughout the entire 12 rounds of the fight. Peter brought a great jab to the fight and at one point blasted Toney with it and James hit the canvas, he says he was off balance but still it looked like Peter just flicked the jab. Peter has great power and was just to strong for Toney, although James took almost everything Peter had, but Samuel looked like the fresher guy at the end of the fight.

On my own un-official card I gave Toney 4 rounds and Peter 8 rounds

It's was a good fight and nobody can say Peter did not deserve to win this bout

Sam Peter now moves to (28 - 1 with 22 KO's) and has the #1 contender spot with the WBC

Samuel is also the reigning NABF heavyweight champion

Co-Feature:

Jose Antonio Rivera vs. Travis Simms Jr Results now in...

Travis Simms is now again WBA Light Middleweight Champion

His pro record now moves to 25 - 0 with 19 KO's

Travis came into this fight ready to take back "what he says, has always been with him" that's the WBA title, who was stripped of his title due to boxing politics, which he say's was unfair and we will leave it at that.

He now once again has his title officially and his future in the sport seems bright, with several potentially big pay days on the horizon..

Rivera fought hard for 9 rounds but Simms powerful straight left hands were just to much for the now former champion.

Jose thought the fight was stopped to early however at the time of stoppage he was bleeding from both his nose and his mouth and overall looked defeated, I thought the stoppage was fine, Simms was only getting better as the fight went along.

Travis looked sharp and I think all the belt holders in his division should watch out!
